    TEHRAN (FNA)- Due to the difficult accessibility and the high risk of collapse or explosion, the imaging of active volcanoes has so far been a great challenge in volcanology. Researchers around Edgar Zorn from the German Research Centre for Geosciences GFZ in Potsdam are now presenting the results of a series of repeated survey flights with optical and thermal imaging cameras at the Santa Maria volcano in Guatemala. Drones were used to observe the lava dome, a viscous plug of lava. The researchers were able to show that the lava dome shows movements on two different time scales: slow expansion and growth of the dome and fast extrusion of viscous lava. The study was published in the journal "Scientific Reports."

TEHRAN (FNA)- In a video posted online May 27, 2020 that seems to have since been removed, a what appears to be white man wearing a gas mask and all dark clothing, while carrying an umbrella and hammer, was allegedly seen busting out windows of an AutoZone in Minneapolis, MN prior to walking away. At the start of the video he is seen walking away and is questioned by bystanders. This happened during the protests and riots that have taken place since the death of George Floyd, a black man suspected of passing a counterfeit twenty dollar bill. Mr Floyd was killed while under arrest by the Minneapolis Police Department. The video of his death is very disturbing to watch. [VIDEO]
